Brandon is a native of North Carolina, and attended college at UNC in Chapel Hill, where he received a BS in History. He has worked
in restaurants since he was fifteen, and after graduating from college he decided to remain in the business when the owner of
La Residence in Chapel Hill offered him a management position. It was during this time that he developed
a passion for wine that would set the course for his career.
After three years at La Residence, the opportunity to work with a small, boutique wine distributor presented
itself and he jumped at the chance. Grapevine, the distributor, specializes in wines from the Pacific Northwest and from the Burgundy
region of France, which happen to be his favorites. He spent two years selling wine to restaurants and wine shops in the Triangle area,
while further refining his wine knowledge.
Brandon and Elizabeth met when she was buying wine from his company. When she asked him if he knew of anyone who might be interested
in the Maitre d’ position at Four Square, he threw his own name into the hat. The rest, as they say, is
history. Brandon was integral in getting Four Square off the ground, and his is the face you’ll see at the
front door every night making certain every diner’s experience is top notch!
