Private and Business Dinners

Whether a corporate dinner for 10 or wedding reception for 100, our unique facilities and relaxed, genteel ambiance combine to create an event your guests will remember fondly for a long time to come.

Restaurant Layout

 
Four Square Restaurant is unique in the Triangle area in its ability to offer flexible private dining areas for groups of varying sizes. The smallest private room seats 8-11 people at a round table, ideal for committee or business meetings. Parties of 16 to 24 can be accommodated in our mid-sized rooms, both private and semi-private, while parties of 25 to 40 can be accommodated in our largest single private room. We can also make available the entire upstairs for seated dinners of up to 70 people, and the entire restaurant for seated dinners of up to 110 people. Please note that these numbers are for a seated dinner. Stand-up receptions and cocktail parties will allow for larger numbers of people. Restaurant Availability

  The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday for dinner only. However, arrangements can be made for Luncheon and Sunday functions.

Menus and Pricing for Groups

 
Groups of 12 or more will choose from a limited menu rather than order from our full à la carte menu. We offer both 3 and 4 course menus for larger groups, each of which is priced on a per-person basis. An additional list of hors d’ oeuvres is also available. These items are priced per person, which will vary with the choice of items. Your group will receive a menu printed with the selections you have chosen, and your guests will order from this menu. As our menu changes monthly, it may not be possible to finalize your menu selections until one or two weeks before your event. Please do not hesitate to inform us if you have a request for a particular item, or if you have dietary concerns. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs. The North Carolina state sales tax of 7.0% and a gratuity of 20% will be added to all dinner bills.


Beverage Menu

 
The restaurant has full ABC permits. In most menu options, coffee and hot tea are included in the per person price. All other beverages (alcoholic and non) are available at our regular menu prices. We recommend that you choose both a red and white wine to pour with your meal, as this ensures that we will have plenty on hand and allows the host to have more control over expenditures. All special requests for beer, wine or alcohol will be accommodated, subject to availability from our purveyors.

Room Rental Fees

  
Room rental fees may or may not apply to any given party. This will depend on the number of people in the party, the day of the week and the time of the party. This will be discussed in more detail as we plan your event.

Audio-Visual Equipment

 
Audio-visual equipment is available through the restaurant. All rental charges will be itemized and added to your bill as they are incurred. Please be aware that the use of audio-visual equipment may impact the maximum available seating in any room.

Decorations and Other Special Arrangements

 
Decorations, flowers, cakes, photography and entertainment can be arranged through the restaurant. We will add all charges to your bill as they are incurred.
